Meet our guide authorsUseful guides, not filler
Every guide must answer a genuine photo-restoration or preservation question. We do not publish separate pages for minor keyword variations, pad articles to reach a target length, or promise that damaged details can always be recovered.
Sources we can stand behind
Preservation, scanning, file-format, and conservation claims are checked against primary or authoritative sources such as archives, libraries, museums, standards bodies, and original technical documentation. Sources are linked where readers can inspect them.
Accurate product information
Statements about My Restored Photo are checked against the service as it works today. We do not describe planned features as available.
Author and editorial review
Each guide carries its author's byline and receives a separate editorial review. That review covers factual claims, links, product details, image suitability, accessibility, and presentation on mobile and desktop screens.
Honest images and examples
Editorial images must be owned or commissioned for the guide and clearly serve the article. Restoration examples are never presented as customer work unless they are genuine and used with permission. Alt text describes what is visible and useful to the reader.
Corrections and meaningful updates
Published guides include an updated date. When facts, standards, product behaviour, or recommendations change, we update the article and its date. Material errors are corrected rather than quietly left in place for search traffic.
